The Southwestern Room is located at the southwestern corner of the house, and also refers to the historic Southwestern University campus located directly across the street. Rich fabrics in burgundies and golds are used throughout. A unique split-bathroom configuration places the toilet and sink across the room’s entrance hall from the very large shower with massaging showerhead. Both parts of the bathroom are quite private and spacious. This room adjoins the bathroom of the Librarian’s Room, and the two rooms can still be connected through this bathroom, though they are typically used separately.
