We are very pleased to offer the elegance of San Gabriel House Bed & Breakfast and Garden for not only our overnight guests, but also for weddings and receptions, baby showers, birthday parties, private tea parties, meetings, and other events. Enhance your indoor event with the historic ambiance of a century-old Arts-and-Crafts mansion, graced with distinctive woodwork, beveled and stained glass features, and elegant formal rooms. Expand onto our beautiful courtyard gardens for larger gatherings, where pecan and elm trees shade patios of hand-laid flagstone and concrete, serene private landscaping and manicured lawns.

Event Package Information


Every event is unique, and we want yours to be exactly as you envision it, and then some! We offer several basic packages, plus options that can be added on; or, we can create a custom package tailored just for your event. We can also connect you with vendors and other resources who will work together to create your special celebration.


Host your party in our beautiful indoor common areas which include the entry hall, foyer, parlor, dining room, back room, and front or back porches. These areas can accommodate up to 35 for a seated dinner.


Host your party in our garden area which has a stone patio, pavilion, wooden arch, deck, and patio furniture, which can be moved as needed. This area can accommodate up to 60 for a seated dinner.


All event packages include:

  • Access to areas before and after event for set-up and clean-up.
  • Tables and chairs sufficient to seat and serve your group.
  • Set-up and tear down of tables and chairs by our staff.


Available options to customize your special party or event include:

  • Beverage Services: Iced Tea, Lemonade, Water, Coffee, Tea
  • Food catering (for smaller groups)
  • Beautiful vintage china plates and teacups with teapots (for smaller groups)
  • Clear glass or "grapevine" design dinner and dessert plates
  • Silverware (stainless steel)
  • Bar set-up (Please note: Our employees are not able to sell or serve alcohol. BYOB only)
  • Wooden bar stand, vintage look
  • Drinking glasses (tall glass tumblers, used for beer, water, tea or lemonade)
  • Wine glasses (cut crystal or glass, red and white)
  • Champagne flutes
  • Cooler(s) with ice
  • Ice bucket, tongs & corkscrew/bottle openers
  • White, ivory or black tablecloths
  • Chafing dishes
  • Serving utensils or cake knife and server
  • Beverage dispensers or pitchers
  • Access to Carriage House prep kitchen


Whole-house rentals available with or without an event:

  • Ideal for family gatherings, social groups, or company meetings
  • A convenient place for the bridal party to stay and prepare for a wedding at a local venue
  • Renting all five main house includes exclusive use of the upstairs common area
  • Renting all six rooms provides privacy and plenty of space to gather
  • All overnight stays include a freshly prepared two-course breakfast
  • Additional breakfasts available with advance notice
