FRESHLY PREPARED BREAKFAST AT SAN GABRIEL HOUSE B&B

Your stay includes a freshly prepared two-course breakfast served on china and crystal in the main house dining room.

Breakfast is served in the dining room in the main house each morning at 8:00 or 10:00 am. You can chose either time; or, if you need an earlier breakfast, we can accommodate special breakfast time requests. Part of the enjoyment of staying at a bed & breakfast is the delightful fellow travelers you’ll meet, so we highly recommend joining other guests at breakfast time. Our main dining table fits up to eight; for more guests, we set up additional tables in other rooms.

  • If you have an early departure and need breakfast before 7:00 am, we can provide a to-go bag of fruit and muffin, or similar.
  • If you will not be needing breakfast the next morning, please let us know by 9:00 pm the previous day.
  • If you wish to have friends or family join you here for breakfast, we are happy to accommodate them. Extra breakfasts are available for $20 each (plus tax) with at least a day’s notice.

Breakfast menus are "Innkeeper's Choice" and are planned ahead of time. Coffee or hot tea and fruit juice are always provided. Your first course may be one of these refreshing options: fresh fruit with the Rapp’s delicious fruit cream; fruit and Greek yogurt parfait; chilled blueberry soup; peach enchiladas; melons with fresh-squeezed lime juice and local honey.

The main course typically includes eggs (scrambled, oven-baked, quiche, etc.); breakfast meat (sausage, candied bacon, ham, veggie sausage, etc.); and a bread (croissant, fresh-baked scones, biscuits, banana muffins, etc.). Sometimes breakfast may be a sweeter offering, such as Dutch Babies or French toast. Also included may be sauteed or oven-baked vegetables, breakfast potatoes, or fresh fruit. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies before your stay, and we can accommodate them – gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, just let us know what you cannot or will not eat, and we will provide an appropriate and satisfying breakfast.

Many guests like to take a photo of their breakfast, and we post photos on our Facebook page as well.
