POLICIES

Room rates are single or double occupancy and include breakfast. An additional person can be accommodated with a rollaway in Southwestern or Bishop Rose, or in The Loft, for an additional charge.

Except for special events, we do not require a two-night minimum stay; however, rates are discounted for stays of two or more nights. Rates shown reflect the discount. One night’s deposit per room is required to hold your reservation. See cancellation policies below.

CHECK-IN TIME is 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
CHECK-OUT is by Noon.
Please be aware that we may not be at the residence to check you in if we don’t know when you’re arriving! EARLY CHECK-IN IS NOT AVAILABLE without prior arrangements. If you will be arriving after 6:00 PM, please let us know. You will get an email before your reservation with a cell number to advise us of any last-minute changes.

San Gabriel House is a non-smoking facility. No open flames (candles, votives, lanterns) are permitted. Absolutely no smoking or e-cigarettes in or around the property.

We strive to maintain a clean and peaceful, retreat-like environment for adults, so WE DO NOT ACCEPT PETS. CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS OF AGE are not accepted in the main house. Families can reserve The Loft, even with children under 12, but please be aware that this is an historic property; watch over your small children. Please contact us for more information. 

Coolers are not permitted inside the house (on the hardwood floors) but can be stored outside or on one of the porches.

Charges may be made at/after check-out for any of the following reasons:
(1) late check-out without prior approval of the manager,
(2) damage to property discovered, or items missing from the room or common areas (linens or pillows, blow dryer, books or decorations),
(3) excessive need for cleaning, or permanent staining of linens,
(4) evidence of non-permitted activities such as those involving pets or smoking. 

Notice of cancellation:

• 7+ days: Full refund
• 3 - 6 days: Refund of all payment less $30 cancellation fee
• 2 - 3  days: No refund – First night's stay will be charged.
• Same-day or no-show: Entire balance due will be charged. 
• No refunds for early check-out.
   

San Gabriel House Bed & Breakfast has taken every reasonable precaution to ensure that you have an enjoyable and safe visit. However, it is understood that you are using our property at your own risk. Your acceptance of these policies unconditionally waives, releases and holds harmless from liability San Gabriel House Bed & Breakfast, its owners, agents, and other guests from any and all liabilities occurring during your and your party’s visit at San Gabriel House Bed & Breakfast.
