Warmly lit by multiple wall sconces, the Librarian’s room features a classic style king-size bed with comfy-but-firm pillow top mattress, antique nightstands with lamps, a wood vanity with chair that can be used as a desk, and an additional upholstered armchair. Soft gold walls, elegant fabrics, vintage art and a selection of old books create a comfortable ambience. The Librarian’s room is on the northwestern corner of the house, and provides a view of Southwestern University’s historic administration building. The window behind the headboard is curtained for comfort and privacy. The generous 1919 bathroom features original tile floors and fixtures, including a tub with tile surround and a massaging shower head, and leaded glass windows, as well as an antique mahogany vanity with drawers and folding mirrors. This bath was originally shared with the adjoining Southwestern room, and for parties renting both rooms the connecting door can be made available.

All rooms are on the second floor, non-smoking, pet-free, and open to the shared common room.
