Christmas Stroll

Roads around the town square are closed to cars for this free event the first weekend in December, featuring artisans, crafts, clothing, and jewelry vendors; a parade; live music and dancing; food and activities; dinner with The Grinch; and, of course, Santa! Plus enjoy the brilliant Christmas lights adorning the Courthouse, buildings and trees around the Square.

Farmers Markets

Georgetown features multiple Farmers Markets filled with local produce and vendors. Days, times, and locations available at this link.

First Fridays

Not currently scheduled, but hopefully coming back soon: the First Friday of each month downtown merchants stay open later. Enjoy ice cream, wine, live music, and lovely weather as you shop, dine, and walk! Many First Fridays include featured live music on the Square.

Market Days (Second Saturdays)

The Second Saturday of each month, March through November, the Town Square streets are blocked off and filled with vendor booths offering unique gifts and art, food and refreshments, live music, and more!

Red Poppy Festival

A celebration of the Red Poppy Capital of Texas, Georgetown's free Red Poppy Festival features multiple stages of live music, a parade, artisans, a classic car show, 5K, bike ride, kids activities, concerts, and much more, including fields of gorgeous red poppies. This year it is rescheduled as the POPPtoberfest, October 1-3, 2021!
